Mr Sanders already had a GNS430 installed in the past. We performed the WAAS upgrade a few months before this installation. At that time we added the required GPS annunciators for the WAAS field of view requirements. We initially were just going remove the original Collins avionics and backup KLN-90B GPS and install a GMA340, SL30, and GTX327. The first add on was a Icarus SAM roll steering module. Then Mr Sanders decided he really wanted a GMX200 with a GDL69A XM receiver. We decided at the same time it would be a prime opportunity to refurbish the whole instrument panel. We sent the floating panel and the plastic panels to Air Capital Dial in Wichita for repair/refurbishment. They sent us matching paint and clear coat so we could re-paint the rest of the panel in the aircraft, after removing the very 70's woodgrain contact paper and prepping the painted surface. We also replaced the instrument post lights with NuLite light rings. On the exterior, we removed the forward comm antenna and replaced it with a bent whip mounted to the belly. And of course, all avionics wiring was replaced and original coax cables were replaced.
